Headaches

Headaches fall into two main categories: primary and secondary.  

 

Identifying the type of headache you have allows you and your healthcare provider to determine the best treatment and prevention strategies. Primary headaches, such as migraines, tension headaches, and cluster headaches, occur independently, while secondary headaches stem from underlying conditions, including strokes, brain tumors, and meningitis.
