Itchy Eyes

Itchy eyes are often linked to allergies, specifically allergic conjunctivitis, which comes in two forms.

Perennial allergic conjunctivitis results from year-round exposure to household allergens like dust, mold, pet dander, and hair. In contrast, seasonal allergic conjunctivitis occurs mainly in spring and fall when pollen, grass, trees, and flowers are at their highest levels. Other conditions, such as dry eyes and eyelid or eyelash disorders, can also contribute to eye irritation.
